This is my final Flash project from Design III. It was quite challenging but I like how it turned out! All of the symbols were created in and imported directly from Illustrator CS4, something that wasn’t possible in older versions of Illustrator. Sorry there’s no audio– maybe next time.
This illustration is a project from my Design II class last semester – illustrating a song. I chose Ratatat’s Loud Pipes. Each instrument became an actor in the illustration: the pipes were the rhythmic synthesized woodwinds, the electrical arcs were the synthesized guitars, the steam and water drops were the percussion. The soundwaves on the top of the illustration were to show the viewer the intensity of the music as they followed the rhythm of the design.
