My name is Natalie Nazanin Abbassi. I graduated with a degree in Design and Visual Communication at UNC-Greensboro. I love what I do – currently, I am documenting working conditions and society in hardworking rural communities in North Carolina.
Why do I do this?
I enjoy the thrill of learning new techniques and ways to understand life. I’m always discovering new things in my environment. Whether my source of inspiration is my quirky little Papi-Chi Adam, the vast wilderness in North Carolina, the latest movie to hit theaters, or a neat person I meet, I always find a way to capture my viewpoint in a unique way. Or at least I hope so.
So, anyway…
